Dimlang Research
A focused technical research programme on the problems between collecting mission data and understanding it. Eight areas, each defined by a question the platform has to answer.
01Research agenda
How does raw mission output become a dataset an analyst can work with within the hour, not the week?
How should imagery, tracks, and observations be indexed so that place becomes the primary query?
What can be detected reliably in EO and thermal imagery over Nigerian terrain, and how is that measured honestly?
How can language, imagery, and position be combined without losing the link to the original evidence?
What data model lets missions, sorties, sensors, observations, and reviews be compared across months?
How should candidates be presented so analysts review faster without over-trusting the model?
Which parts of the pipeline must run near the sensor when bandwidth is scarce or absent?
How does the platform keep working, and stay consistent, when connectivity is intermittent?
This is a research agenda, not a list of results. Findings will be published here as they are produced, with their data and conditions.
02How we work
Bandwidth, power, terrain, and time pressure shape the research questions, not benchmark leaderboards.
Results are reported with their datasets, conditions, and failure cases. Synthetic data is labelled as synthetic.
Methods that cannot show where an output came from are not suitable for operational use.
Research serves locating people, understanding environments, and supporting responders. It does not extend to weapons or targeting.

For government, research, technology, public-safety, and search-and-rescue organisations.
